Directions
  1. Add illustration and other pictures to each page of your story. Use your imagination and have fun!
  2. Using the three-hole punch make three holes-one an inch from the top, one an inch from the bottom and one in the middle of the construction paper and cover pages.
  3. Make your cover page out of the cardboard or poster board or use the cover page that printed with your story. You can cut it out and glue it to the cover pages.
  4. Assemble the books pages-making sure that you keep the book in order. Keep the holes on the left. Use the pages that printed out and that you have illustrated to make the book’s pages by gluing them to a piece of construction paper.
  5. Assemble your book! Put the cover page on top, then arrange the interior pages in the correct order. Put the other piece of cardboard or construction paper on the back. Align the page holes and using the string or ribbon, carefully thread one string or ribbon through each hole. Tie each string in a bow so that the book stays together. Make sure to leave enough room so that the pages turn easily.
  6. Read your book-over and over again.
